Call History

Call history gives you a complete log of all calls made and received on your child's cup. It's a great way to keep an eye on how the phone is being used and make sure everything looks right.

Viewing call history

  1. Go to Cups and select your child's cup.
  2. Tap Call History.
  3. You'll see a list of all calls, with the most recent at the top.

What each entry shows

Every call in the history includes the following details:

  • Date and time -- when the call happened, shown in New Zealand time (NZST/NZDT).
  • Direction -- whether the call was incoming or outgoing.
  • Phone number -- the number that was called or that called in.
  • Contact name -- if the number is in your child's approved contacts list, the contact name is shown alongside the number.
  • Duration -- how long the call lasted.
  • Result -- what happened with the call.

Call results

Each call has one of the following results:

ResultWhat it means
AnsweredThe call was picked up and a conversation took place.
No AnswerThe call rang but nobody answered.
BusyThe line was busy when the call was attempted.
FailedThe call could not be connected.
BlockedThe call was blocked because the number is not in the approved contacts list.

Filtering your view

You can narrow down the call history using filters:

  1. Direction -- show only incoming calls, only outgoing calls, or all calls.
  2. Result type -- show only calls with a specific result (e.g. only blocked calls).

These filters are helpful if you want to quickly check, for example, whether any unknown numbers have tried to call your child.

Blocked calls

Calls from numbers that are not in your child's approved contacts list will appear in the history with a Blocked result. This lets you see who has been trying to reach your child's cup, even though those calls were never connected.
