Connecting to Wi-Fi
Your Papercup phone needs a Wi-Fi connection to make and receive calls. Wi-Fi is configured through the phone's web interface.
Steps
- Connect the phone to your router using an ethernet cable, or contact support to have Wi-Fi pre-configured
- Find the phone's IP address (shown on the phone's display)
- On a computer or tablet on the same network, open a browser and go to that IP address
- Log in to the phone's web interface
- Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings and select your home network
- Enter your Wi-Fi password and save
- Once connected, you can disconnect the ethernet cable
Tips
- Place your Papercup phone within good range of your Wi-Fi router
- The phone supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks
- 2.4GHz has better range through walls; 5GHz has faster speeds at shorter range
- If your network doesn't appear, try moving the phone closer to the router
