Connecting to Wi-Fi

Your Papercup phone needs a Wi-Fi connection to make and receive calls. Wi-Fi is configured through the phone's web interface.

Steps

  1. Connect the phone to your router using an ethernet cable, or contact support to have Wi-Fi pre-configured
  2. Find the phone's IP address (shown on the phone's display)
  3. On a computer or tablet on the same network, open a browser and go to that IP address
  4. Log in to the phone's web interface
  5. Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings and select your home network
  6. Enter your Wi-Fi password and save
  7. Once connected, you can disconnect the ethernet cable

Tips

  • Place your Papercup phone within good range of your Wi-Fi router
  • The phone supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks
  • 2.4GHz has better range through walls; 5GHz has faster speeds at shorter range
  • If your network doesn't appear, try moving the phone closer to the router
