Cancelling Your Plan

If Papercup isn't the right fit right now, you can cancel your paid plan at any time. Your cups, contacts, and settings will be preserved, so nothing is lost if you decide to come back later.

How to cancel

  1. Log in to your account at portal.papercup.kids
  2. Go to Billing
  3. Click Cancel Subscription
  4. Follow the confirmation prompts

What happens after you cancel

  • Your paid plan stays active until the end of your current billing period -- you won't lose access early.
  • After the billing period ends, your account is downgraded to the free plan.

What the free plan includes

On the free plan, your account is still fully yours:

  • Your cups, contacts, and settings are all preserved
  • Calling minutes are limited
  • Some features are unavailable

You can re-upgrade to a paid plan at any time from the Billing page.

What happens to your phone numbers

  • Any paid phone numbers will be released at the end of your billing period.
  • Your first free DID is only available on paid plans, so it will also be released when your plan downgrades.

Closing your account entirely

If you'd like to fully close your Papercup account and remove your data, please contact our support team and we'll take care of it for you.
